Flowmeters in test stands must be extremely accurate over a wide flow range. This means from zero to maximum flow. Fast flow velocity changes must be followed accurately. Flowmeters must maintain consistency and accuracy through multiple test cycles. In test cycles for a hydraulic pump, for example, the pump is subjected to test conditions only once, but the flowmeter is subjected to test conditions again and again.

KRAL Volumeter are screw spindle-flowmeters that work with the positive-displacement principle and are used in 9 European Bureaus of Standards as a transfer standard for fuel test stands. In the Bureaus of Standards the screw spindle-flowmeters measure with an accuracy of ±0.015% of rate. For industrial applications we offer accuracy to ±0.1% of rate.
