KRAL Volumeter measures directly in the fuel lines without concern for the pressure pulses that occur when changing from gas to diesel. This method of measurement is more precise than measuring tank levels, and data is available immediately. This benefit means that the turbines can be adjusted to run at the lowest specific fuel consumption.
To reduce NOx emissions, the combustion temperature is decreased by injecting water. KRAL Volumeter is able to measure the deminerlaized water in minimal space without stabilizing runs of straight pipe.
Turbines are designed to operate according to ISO conditions at 15 °C and 60 % humidity. Under different climatic conditions, efficiency is reduced. To bring efficiency back to the higher level, fogging air conditioning units restore the ISO conditions. KRAL Volumeter measures the water volume with extreme precision , assuring exact water droplet size so important to these special fogs.
